Founded in 1922 in Toledo, Ohio, USA, Y’s Men International began when Judge Paul William Alexander and a group of dedicated young men established the first Y’s Men’s Club to support the YMCA through volunteer service and leadership. What started as a local initiative has grown into a global movement committed to serving communities and building lasting friendships.
Today, Y’s Men International partners with the YMCA to promote youth development, humanitarian service, leadership, and international fellowship. The organization welcomes both men and women, encourages family participation, and has grown to more than 1,700 clubs, 31,000 members, and a presence in 74 countries, continuing its mission of building stronger communities and a better world for all.
